The Opportunity
Cinereach is seeking a talented Manager of Community, Learning & Design to join our team as the lead program manager and facilitator on an array of keystone programs and initiatives. As a program manager you will report directly to the Director of Community, Learning & Design, you will help cultivate relationships with community leaders, content creators and influencers in the media landscape. You will support and facilitate the ideation and research process that leads to producing viable content for media. This role includes supporting strategic partnerships and coordinating efforts to work through appropriate communities and channels in ways that support our strategic vision. You will be instrumental in managing and evaluating program effectiveness.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for this position is an independent and unconventional thinker with a passion for dissecting the cross sections of people, community, culture and content. You’re a curious intellectual, and a disruptive designer at heart. You regularly consume information that shapes your thoughts on the media, film/TV/content, emergent trends, politics, climate, social and racial justice and interconnected systems. You’re an effective project manager with experience managing multi-pronged programs with internal and external stakeholders. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, are self sufficient and capable of seeing tasks and projects through to a successful execution.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of film/TV and the media/content landscape is preferred but not required
- Background in community work, government, education, OTT media or civic organizations is a plus
- Well organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Works well independently and in a team setting
- Efficient with database management and program reporting
General Responsibilities
- Project manage all Community, Learning & Design programs, ensuring to keep accurate records and reporting tools on deck
- Assisting with research & planning; sourcing and vetting opportunities or leads as needed for programs
- General project support, which might include event planning, coordination of logistics, setting meetings and schedules, initiating timelines, etc.
- Liaising with external partners as needed, participating and leading meetings to derive KPIs
- Communications support, including email communications with external partners and liaising with PR, or marketing support
