Engine Mechanics:
Essential job duties are as follows but are not limited to:
· Perform maintenance manual level repairs, and/or overhaul (disassembly, inspection, and assembly) of RR T56/501 & P&W PT6 engines in accordance with approved data and published work scopes.
· Inspection of engine parts and related components.
· Understand configuration & fits requirements during build.
· Know and perform proper servicing procedures.
· Ensure all work is performed IAW posted work scopes.
Position Experience Requirements:
· Powerplant license strongly preferred. Airframe license a plus.
· Prior experience as an aviation mechanic – overhaul, repair and/or troubleshooting is required or have a Powerplant license.
Machinists - CNC & Manual:
Essential job duties are as follows but are not limited to:
- Set up and operate various Machining & Grinding equipment.
- Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
- Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; trimming heads.
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Position Experience Requirements:
· Minimum of 3-5 years working as a Machinist – Manual & CNC Programmer/Operator.
· Proper use and knowledge of Machine Shop tools and measuring equipment.
· Basic computer skills.
· Toolbox with basic Machinist tools.
Sheetmetal/QEC Mechanics:
Essential job duties are as follows but are not limited to:
- Perform layout work, measuring, bending, and forming sheet metal in preparation for assembly. Able to perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures.
- Utilizing tools as required to shape and form angles and configurations according to blueprint specifications.
- Become familiar with and follow the requirements of this Repair Station Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, Airworthiness Directives, advisory circular, manufacturer’s service bulletins and any other required to perform their assigned work.
- Report any difficulties, uncertainties, unserviceable equipment, or potential safety hazards to their supervisor and observe all safety precautions in the performance of assigned tasks at all times.
Position Experience Requirements:
· Prior sheet metal experience required.
· Airframe license is strongly preferred. Powerplant license a plus.
· Must have a toolbox.
Quality Control Inspector:
Essential job duties are as follows but are not limited to:
- Perform assigned inspection functions in accordance with the prescribed standards of airworthiness and serviceability.
- Perform preliminary inspection of all articles that are maintained and process inspections (as needed) and ensure all discrepancies identified are properly documented.
- Inspect all articles that have been involved in an accident for hidden damage before maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alteration is performed
- Ensure that the maintenance record entry required by § 43.9 or § 43.11, as appropriate, is completed.
- Perform inspection of articles maintained by other facilities contracted by the repair station
- Responsible for ensuring all paperwork is completed and signed in compliance with all existing regulations and procedures
Position Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in engine (preferably Rolls-Royce 501D/T56) MRO environment with two years as an airworthiness inspector in a Part 145 organization.
- Familiar with the applicable 14CFR 145 regulations and with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness.
- Certificated under 14 CFR Part 65- Powerplant License required, A&P preferred.
- Proficient in using the various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial gages, borescope).
General Requirements:
Due to regulatory requirements of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.
Familiarization with and able to read & interpret engine manuals, drawings/prints, and bulletin compliance.
Knowledge of aviation engines, components, and its accessories.
Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English and have basic toolbox.
A Plus:
Experience with:
§ Overhaul, repair, and/or troubleshooting of RR T56/501 & P&W PT6 engines.
§ Aviation Test Cell Operator/Mechanic.
§ Disassembly, sub-assembly, and final assembly of FCU, Fuel pumps, and fuel system related components.
Basic Schedule:
7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday, additional time as needed.
