Vision Point Systems, Inc. (VPS) is currently recruiting for a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to work on corrosion engineering and TACOM Army Ground Support projects. Duties include laboratory and field test plan development; executing laboratory coatings, materials, and corrosion tests; field investigations and surveys; scientific data analysis and report writing; understanding military specifications, technical manuals, and other publications; and technical writing.

Requirements: 

-Bachelor's Degree in materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, or other aligned engineering degree from an accredited college or university.

-0-5 years of functional engineering experience.

-Must be able and willing to travel 25% of the time to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.

-Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Eligibility for a clearance requires US Citizenship.

-Demonstrated professional writing and presentations skills.

-Must collaborate and work well with multi-faceted teams.

Desired Skills

-Experience working with and supporting US Army programs.

-Technical experience in materials engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, coatings and vehicle platforms.

-Experience with data analysis and statistics is a plus.
