Warehouse - Retail Stockroom Inventory Lead

Essential Job Functions:
- Keeps store clean, organized, and presentable for business
- Merchandise products, create displays, and create store/product signage to increase business
- Manages inventory levels and assists with new inventory and placement
- Assists Retail Manager with product merchandising, display creation, and store/product signage
- Performs basic office functions such as data entry, inventory control, product ordering and receiving Works closely with the accounting department on all invoices and related paperwork
- Assists in the development of product re-ordering protocols
- Occasional delivery driving of a BRM vehicle between facilities
- Recommend, select, and help customers locate merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
- Share product knowledge enthusiastically and accurately to elevate service and increase sales
- Operate cash register with a high level of accuracy
- Manage fulfillment and inventory needs of the Whole Grain Store
- Ensure that the stock room is clean, organized, and follows all company best practices and standards
- Follow and adhere to all safety procedures when operating equipment
- Train and assist retail employees to properly put away freight, rotate stock, maintain flex space, and label as necessary
- Ensure proper pricing in all systems to account for accurate COGs
- Demonstrate awareness of financial impacts of decision making
- Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be adaptable with working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Assist with inventory and ordering of merchandise
- Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, stickered, rotated, and displayed
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner
- Confront and resolve difficult situations in a proactive, objective, professional, and solution-oriented manner

- Communicate effectively with individuals, groups, peers, management, and the general public
- Ensure a clean, organized, safe, and respectful environment for guests and employees
- Comply with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Must remain friendly and service oriented, even during times of long lines and high traffic
- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned
- Be willing to assist in other departments as needed
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner
- Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position reports to the Retail Store Manager.

Qualifications:
- Three or more years of retail inventory experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to sell alcohol.
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
Physical Demands:
- Position requires continued walking or standing for long periods up to 2 hours at a time.
- Position requires the ability to bend, squat, and climb stairs frequently.
- Position requires the ability to lift products weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
- The primary work environment for this position is within the store. A small percentage of time may be outdoors where temperatures vary.
