POSITION TITLE: Shipping Technician

Position Statement

Responsible for receiving and stocking all vendor supplied materials and for packaging and shipping all customer orders. Drive company truck for pickups and deliveries as required. Required to maintain accurate inventories and inventory locations.

Key Relationships
Internal
*Shipping/Receiving Supervisor.
*Interact daily with Customer Service, Customer Fulfillment Planners and Production employees.

External
*As a company representative, interacts with freight carriers, vendors, and customers.

Responsibility/ Accountability Performance Measures

Receive all incoming materials – production, supplies, and MRO Accuracy and timeliness of receiving transactions

Ship all outgoing products and other packages as required to support the Company. FIFO is a must. Accuracy and timeliness of shipping transactions

Maintain shipping warehouse and staging area Inventory accuracy as verified by IQMS reports and cycle counts

Housekeeping Appearance of work area

Any other duties deemed necessary by the supervisor. Timeliness and accuracy
