SUMMARY: Assembles and packages parts of various materials such as plastics, silicone, or metal, to produce medical products such as catheters, reservoirs or sub assemblies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
Clips, snaps, cements or otherwise fastens parts together.
Cuts, trims, prints, packages, cleans, coats, assembles and pacts products.
Fills out & maintains device control forms (DCF) with appropriate information.
Works between different stations as production needs require.
Ensures clean work station and compliance with company’s Quality Manual and relevant procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, drawings, and procedure manuals. Ability to fill out simple work forms. English required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and common fractions.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, assemble, produce, cut, and wash product. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
