BriteWash After-Care Attendantsare crucial to completing the customer experience. They are responsible for greeting customers at car wash, drying of vehicles, vacuuming interiors, cleaning windows, shampooing carpets, and applying wax upon request. Uses cloths, hoses, and water to clean and detail vehicle.

After-Care Attendants are responsible for completing the washing process beyond the automated tunnel. This involves carrying out all other daily duties that ensure effective cleaning process.

BriteWash After Care Attendants will primarily be working outside in teams of two.

Each attendant should be able to use certain equipment (e.g. vacuum hoses, air guns, and disinfectant sprays to name a few) to work efficiently. Training will be provided.

During slower volume periods, After-Care Attendants will be asked to perform cleaning of facility including restrooms, lobby floors, storefront windows, associate break-room, parking lot sweeping, plant watering, along with other similar cleaning tasks. After-Care Attendants will also be responsible to perform Towel Cleaning during slower volume periods of their shift.

Every After-Care Attendant will participate in and ensure everything in the storage room is kept in the appropriate place and organized at the end of each shift.

Occasionally, After-Care Attendants will be asked to perform “hand-wash” cleaning for over-sized vehicles. In such case, the selected After-Care Attendant will be expected to wash the entire exterior of the vehicle manually using a high-pressure sprayer, soapy buckets with sponges and shammy clothes. Upon completing this effort, the same Attendant will accompany the vehicle through the After-Care Service lanes to work with fellow team members to complete the interior washing process including cleaning windows, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and applying wax upon request.

After-Care Attendants are paid a base compensation rate of $15/hour and have the opportunity to earn extra compensation for positive customer surveys with extra pay each time the Attendant is cited for their positive service skills (any combination of courteous, friendly, funny, or helpful). After-Care Attendants will also obtain additional pay from customer tips.

It is important to note that BriteWash will make customer tipping a priority and the daily tip pool should allow for substantially more compensation than the $15/hour base. After-Care Attendants will also obtain additional pay for each “hand-wash” performed (additional $10 for each manager-approved cleaning effort).

Experience:

1 year car wash experience (preferred but not necessary)

Hours of operation: 7 days a week 8am-7pm

Hourly compensation and tip split- Plus extra pay for additional hand-washes

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet people and direct them to wait inside while car is being washed.
• Spray rims and clean dirt from tires and rims thoroughly.
• Spray window cleaner on windows and dry off.
• Ensure all soap is rinsed from car before beginning other applications.
• Remove debris from car.
• Use shop vacuum to suck up dirt and debris from carpets.
• Remove car mats and shake debris out.
• Clean rear windows.
• Use environmentally-friendly citrus-based cleaning products to wipe down interior of car.
• Clean dash and console with soft cloth.
• Use environmentally-friendly citrus-based cleaning products , brushes, cloths, and hoses.
• Ensure patrons' valuables and cash remain undisturbed in vehicle
• Carry out periodic maintenance of equipment used in washing to keep them in proper working order.
• Perform cleaning of facility and ensure everything is kept in the appropriate place and organized for the beginning of next shift and end of day.
• Move or direct cars into the dry area with a pleasant, focused, and competent attitude
• Carry out visual inspection of vehicles to confirm their condition after the initial wash.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to in carrying out given tasks daily
• Ensure vacuums are unclogged, trash cans emptied, and hoses properly hung
• With a sense of urgency, ensure the right thing is done at the right time with customers, and fellow teammates.
• Deliver excellent customer service by thanking the customer.
• Direct patron to receive their car after it has been completed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to display courteous and professional attitude

• Ability to lift items of moderate weight
• Ability to work outdoor and be efficient in all weather conditions
• Ability to work swiftly to deliver washed vehicles to customers in record time
• Ability to interact ethically with fellow employees and customers
• Possess high school diploma together with training or/and a year sales experience in related occupation; alternatively, equivalent combination of experience and education
• Possess valid and current driver’s license
• Strong ability to handle the physical demand of the job
• Knowledge of cars and their parts, tools and other necessary equipment
• Ability to follow directions and correctly implement tasks.
