Senior Marketing Specialist - Firearms Training Division

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Marketing Specialist who is an instrumental part of the Training Divisions’ Marketing team. They will report to the Marketing Manager. This individual will be responsible for managing projects to ensure that projects are properly executed in a timely manner. They will bring a strong performance record with excellent communication, demonstrated fast learning abilities, and project management.
Their primary responsibility is overseeing the implementation of marketing campaigns, email campaigns and other digital channels. They will ensure KPIs are being tracked properly and goals are being achieved.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- An expert in running and overseeing Marketing campaigns, Pay Per Click (PPC), Display Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Marketing, Programmatic & Mobile
- Create and manage a marketing team’s calendar to make sure that all promotions are scheduled and executed
- Collaborate with copywriters and designers to create web pages and other marketing related content
- Prepare for and lead meetings about strategy, day-to-day operations of a marketing team, and optimization
- Create and manage daily, monthly, and yearly marketing promotions and or content calendars and budgets
- Responsible for reviewing designs, copy, and coded web pages to ensure information accuracy, grammar and spelling accuracy, and proper functionality on the web
- Responsible for continuous optimization of team strategy and web pages via A/B testing
- Assist with building and implementing email marketing sends on an as needed basis
- Work with the Business Intelligence team to analyze a variety of numerical reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, monthly, and special request basis and take action based on that analysis
- Provide project management or project management assistance on a variety of projects ranging from projects such as product creation to managing a marketing team
- Examine and analyze return on investment for projects and campaigns to increase profitability
- Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause and effect relationships
- Conduct secondary research, including finding information from industry associations, statisticians and marketing experts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal cross-functional departments, internal customers to include; business development team members, member services, IT, finance and HR colleagues
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills/Abilities and Education Requirements:
- Performance driven professional with strong interpersonal leadership skills
- Strong problem solving and statistical analysis skills
- 5+ years experience in marketing, B2B experience is a plus
- Solid business acumen and ability to capitalize on findings and develop action plans to capture potential
- Strong achiever with solid record of growing and building initiatives
- Strong communication skills to present, inform, and persuade high level customers
- Strong ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels and functions of the organization
- Strong skills in composition, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA advantageous
