In the Nick of Time Moving focuses on delivering gun safes to customers from retailers using specialized equipment.

As a Gun Safe Delivery Technician, the primary ongoing responsibility is to assist in the delivery of products into a customer's home or business.

Using our state-of-the-art training facility we focus on training each of our employees so that they feel confident using our equipment and processes to safely and efficiently get a safe exactly where the customer wants it.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to moving gun safes into customers’ homes and installing them. We use specialized equipment to do this combined with our state-of-the-art training program.

• Items can weigh several hundred pounds, so a good candidate will have strong attention to detail.

• Long workdays are not unusual (10+ hours) especially in our busy season which is mid-November - March

Tasks include:

• Moving safes and pallets using specialized equipment

• Using stair climbing dollies and pallet jacks

• Providing quality customer services at all times

• Promoting, maintaining, and developing existing customers and new customer business

• Occasional weekend work for store promotions

• All other duties assigned by management

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills needed.

• Basic mechanical/maintenance skill and general knowledge of tools

• Be available for occasional overnight travel and some weekend work

• Must have a VALID driver's license

• Pass a background check

• High school diploma/G.E.D

• Obtain a DOT medical Card

• Must be able to lift 75 lbs throughout the duration of the shift

• Must be 21 years or older

Pay: $17.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Limited contact with people throughout the day. Each day we deliver for about 5-6 people and when we do pickups at the stores we go in the back and only see one or two employees from the store.
