Principal Consultant, IMS ( Managed Services )

Location: Remote work
Position: Full-time, regular

Be part of Infovity’s Managed Services (IMS) team to provide timely, high-quality ongoing support to Oracle clients. The success of our service delivery is centered around the remote support team and how well it integrates with the other teams in the organization.

You will use exceptional technical and customer care to diagnose and solve complex technical issues that enable our clients to operate their business and succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2/3 application support to Oracle’s clients and users of cloud-based and EBS enterprise applications.
  • Execute the day-to-day maintenance activities for a variety of clients including process design, package implementation lifecycle support, break-fix, incident, and project reviews
  • Respond to issues and incidents and provide day-to-day support for business user issues mainly in PO, INV, WIP, MES, and Self-service modules.
  • Identify, document, and manage client business/functional requirements.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for customer management and drive weekly cadence and QBRs as a customer relationship manager.
  • Provide specialized investigation and diagnosis of all incidents to identify problems and escalate unresolved incidents to external support.
  • Collaborate with the remote support team and offshore team in their day-to-day activities.
  • Assist the Director in identifying process improvement areas and propose systematic solutions.
  • Support Upgrade testing and validation efforts.
  • Work with Oracle Support team to achieve fast turn-around of SRs.
  • Identify processes that can be improved or enhanced by automation, and work with INFOVITY’s system automation team to implement automated processes.
  • Support the planning, preparation, and execution of future releases.
  • Be a trusted advisor to customer’s business groups regarding all aspects of Oracle's footprint and optimal utilization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of experience supporting medium to large applications, working directly with clients in supporting Oracle Cloud & EBS Applications.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills.
  • Prior experience working with Oracle EBS Financials preferred with any modules combinations of Purchasing (PO), iProcurement, Inventory (INV), Work in Process (WIP), Bill of Materials (BOM), Engineering (ENG), Quality (QA), Approval Management (AME), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Costs (CST), Warehouse management WMS/MSCA, Enterprise Asset Management (eAM), iSupplier, Payables (AP), Order Management (OM), Planning (SCP), Projects (PA), and Time and Labor (OTL).
  • A good understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher is a plus.
  • Good understanding of ITIL framework, ITSM, and service desk management.
  • Experience with Oracle upgrades and functional testing.
  • Strong customer service and configuration skills across Oracle EBS and Cloud Applications; preferred exposure to Oracle SCM and manufacturing.
  • Understanding the interdependencies between Supply Chain and Financials, especially as they relate to hardware, subscriptions, and/or capital equipment, a plus.
  • Ability to work in a remote team environment and interact well with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work well as part of a mixed team including, project managers and technical consultants, client personnel (both on and off-shore); capability to work independently and take ownership of and complete relatively complex tasks effectively using available resources, as needed, with minimal guidance.
