Remote Inside Sales Representative – VA Channel

  1. Job Description

    Position Overview:

    Biowave, a medical device company, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative-VA Channel to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for prospecting new VA facilities, scheduling appointments for in-services, coordinating to trial Biowave in clinic and helping to grow existing business within the Veterans Administrations. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

    Biowave’s patented, FDA cleared smarter pain blocking technology is currently used by professional and collegiate sports teams, private pain practices & Federal Healthcare Providers (VA + Active Military) to help patients manage acute and chronic pain without the use of opioids (www.biowave.com)

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Prospect new accounts
    • Identify key decision makers at target clinics within new VAMCs.
      • Leverage data gathered from Veteran leads to identify providers to target
    • Call and email providers to educate on Biowaves continuum of care
      • Generate interest from providers to schedule in-services to demonstrate product.
    1. Appointment setting and in-services.
    • Work with outside sales reps to schedule in-services to demonstrate.
    • Ensure sales reps have necessary tools and equipment to professionally present Biowave.
    • Work with providers to invite additional clinics and increase attendance for in-service.
    1. Set up Trials
      • Call into prosthetics and complete paperwork to establish vendor file
      • Work with logistics/biomed to ensure proper steps are taken to clear the device for trial.
      • Coordinate scheduling of patients with providers and outside sales to begin trial.
      • Maintain weekly communication with providers to ensure patient identification and use of device.
      • Work with Outside Sales to ensure consistent physical presence in clinic to meet provider needs.
    2. Manage and Grow existing accounts
      • Ensure VA providers have the supplies necessary to treat.
      • Target new clinics at existing VA’s to adopt Biowave as a treatment.
      • Call into CBOC locations to expand usage to across VA healthcare systems.
      • Work with outside sales to educate VA providers to drive referrals into appropriate clinics.

    Keys to Success:

    1-      Keep accurate account in Salesforce CRM.

    2-      Maintain consistent contact and follow up with all accounts in active pipeline

    3-      Consistent communication with outside sales regarding provider needs.

    4-      Effectively utilize all forms of communication; phone and email. And communicate professionally.

    5-      Consistent call volume to new and existing accounts.
