The City of Sioux City (population 81,617) is looking for a new Public Works Director / Assistant City Manager to successfully manage a $27,000,000 budget, $136,000,000 5-year CIP, and 114 employees within Engineering, Central Maintenance Garage (Fleet), Streets and Parking divisions.
- Combines the duties of PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR & ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER
- Responsible for managing a $27 million operating budget
- Responsible for managing a $136 million 5-year Capital Improvements Program (CIP) budget
- Manages 114 employees in the Engineering, Central Maintenance Garage (Fleet), Street & Parking Divisions.
