Traffic Control Flagger

We have built a team of experienced, respected and certified traffic control supervisors to manage field operations, and we are rapidly growing! What You Will Do

· Use hand signals and directional signs to direct traffic around road construction sites.

· Appropriately position warning and detour signs and set up barricades and traffic cones around constructions sites.

· Maintain and remove temporary work zones.

· Assist construction crew in the removal of rubble, debris and hazardous material.

· Load and unload work zone equipment to and from the company vehicle.

· If approved, drive a company vehicle to and from job sites in a SAFE and PROFESSIONAL manner.

· Complete all required daily and weekly paperwork in a timely manner.

· Ensure all proper PPE is worn and maintained in compliance with Company policy.

· Ensure the SAFETY and SECURITY of all clients, colleagues and traveling public in or near the work zone and according to ATSSA regulations.

· Report any concerns/issues directly to a Field Supervisor.

· Other job duties as may be assigned.

What You Will Have

· MUST have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record, as required.

· Have reliable communication to receive work schedule and for timekeeping purposes.

· Ability to provide good communication, both verbal and written.

· Ability to work in all types of weather conditions to include heat, rain, and/or snow.

· MUST pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain a drug-free status.

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time during your assigned shift.

· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively.
