DALLAS - FT. WORTH AREAS - PART-TIME

Texas Tropical Plants, Inc. is an Interior Landscape Company providing tropical plants and horticultural care for commercial businesses and hotels in and around the Dallas area. We are looking for a DEPENDABLE team member that will give excellent customer service to our clients!

DUTIES:

Visiting customer facilities such as offices, retail sites, hotels, banks, and corporate centers.

Watering and fertilizing all plants as necessary. • Keeping all plants cleaned, trimmed and oriented to proper light. • Removing any damaged or unsightly foliage. • Removing debris from planters and maintaining planters in a neat and orderly manner. • Preventing damage to surrounding floors, walls and furniture from water and/or moisture. • Keeping all plants free from disease and insects. • Maintaining staging and top dressing for proper presentation

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

Proper documentation of work orders, service records and route sheets. Daily communication to supervisor regarding account problems or concerns. • Friendly, professional communication with clients, neat professional appearance at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

As a Customer Service Specialist, you MUST have a strong work ethic and great attention to detail. Must be trustworthy to be able to work independently.

Possess a genuine desire to serve customers by taking the best possible care of their plants and maintaining our high level of customer service.

Be able to lift and carry a 10lb water bucket, and/or occasionally load and unload 40-50 lb. water machines.

Must be able to use scissors, pruners, hand saws, hoses, and other small tools. Must be able to apply leaf cleaners and insecticides using hand-held pump sprayers.

Monday-Friday 20-30 hours per week.

Must have reliable transportation with a minimum of liability insurance.
