Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation. What will you do?
Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located at our headquarters facility in Fairfax, Virginia. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for all ISSO duties as defined as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) directive, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and the DSS Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM). Duties include, but are not limited to, weekly auditing of the information systems, certification and accreditation activities, and coordination and supporting secure systems operations and maintenance. The ISSO will also be responsible for developing and implementing government-approved information security procedures and plans for the operation of networked and standalone classified computers and coordinate government agency approvals. The candidate will be instrumental in conducting or overseeing self-inspections and achieving and maintaining compliance with the RMF, NISPOM, DAAPM, corporate directives, pertinent DoD Information Assurance IA/Cyber instructions and other government contractual security requirements. Other responsibilities include developing and conducting information system security education program requirements to all users of classified information systems supporting classified programs; supporting and maintaining in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals; and helping to define and communicate the security posture and culture of the organization. Finally, the candidate will act as the on-site POC for the contracted IT vendor that provides unclassified IT support to the company.
Basic Requirements
- Top Secret clearance, due to contract requirement
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- CISSP, Security+, or equivalent certification
- ISSM Required Training as outlined in the DSS Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM): CS102.16, CS103.16, CS104.16, CS105.16, CS106.16, CS107.16, CS200.16
- 3 years previous experience as an ISSO with knowledge of supporting information assurance activities, including risk management framework and certification and accreditation
Preferred Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance
- Experience working with the application of STIGS to both Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience preparing System Security Plans and POA&Ms
