Our ideal candidate will have had sales training in the "Challenger model", SPIN selling, or a solution-selling type of framework.

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Account Manager at BLUEFIN, LLC will focus on new account generation and account retention, growth, pro-active business development, networking, and some project management responsibilities. This is a multi-faceted position that encompasses multiple priorities and tasks. You will be the primary point of contact for your existing and newly developed accounts as well as the communication point between your customer, project manager and other internal and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for generating and growing your own qualified leads through Salesforce and other lead generation tools (LinkedIn, industry organizations, etc.). During a customer project, you will help organize and support the project manager by helping set up and initialize the project and working as the client’s main contact working within their team and ours to exceed expectations and ensure successful project delivery.
- Generate new opportunities and business in the south west/south central region to meet an annual sales goal which includes prospecting and networking to generate new leads and opportunities as well as maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects.
- Maintain,develop and expand relationships with existing clients to maintain continuity and grow our revenue and scope of work annually
- Become the primary POC for the client, working within their team and ours to exceed expectations and ensure successful project delivery, as well as problem solving as needed
- Interact with internal team members including sales support, marketing, other account managers, project managers, program managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and senior management as needed
- Support and organize projects with Project Manager and maintain POC for customer during the entire project
- Maintain and grow knowledge of target industries, opportunities, and competitors
- Consistently update prospect interaction and results in Salesforce CRM system
- Think creatively to identify new markets, products, and sources of revenue as well as provide recommendations to the organization

- Help resolve invoicing or billing issues through customer POC

Job Requirements:
- College Degree Required
- 5+Years of Sales Experience Required
- Ability to work out of our Newark, Delaware office and travel through the mid-Atlantic region.
- Evidence of consistent sales quota achievement
- Formal sales training highly preferred (Challenger, Solution Selling, Spin Selling, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Experience with prospecting and problem solving
- Strong sales prospecting and skills mandatory
- Self-motivated with the ability to work highly effectively with minimal supervision/remote management
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional listening and communication skills (phone, email, and in person)
- Outstanding relationship-building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
- Comfort level in the C Suite
- Technical construction or professional services experience a plus
- General background in roofing and/or pavement is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Architectural and engineering background a plus
- No roofing industry experience required
