Coastal Production Systems, is actively seeking a Service Technician. This position will be responsible for all maintenance and repair of all equipment to include pumps, diesel engines and other equipment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Perform other tasks assigned to them by supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate proficiency in the learning of the service and maintenance of our equipment and operating a forklift.
- Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, pumps, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment.
- Disassemble all types of pumping equipment to gain access to remove, clean, and inspect components.
- Troubleshoot, rebuild, test, and repair of centrifugal pumps.
- Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
- Responsible for service documentation, create accurate parts lists, and track inventory used.
- Field work as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanically inclined and team player.
- Working knowledge of centrifugal pumps is preferred.
- Prior experience with diesel motors is a plus.
- Performs work in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
- Must obtain basic hand tools within 90-day period.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years old
- 1-2 years practical experience with maintenance of pumps run by engine
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL Class A preferred
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required
- Willingness to travel as necessary within the area (customer locations)
