DUTIES

Enforce and maintain Sausalito parking rules and regulations through interpreting and applying state law, city codes and ordinances, provide general information and assistance to the public, impound vehicles as necessary, direct traffic, respond to low priority city ordinance violations, assist with simple evidence collection as needed, assist with report taking as necessary, and perform related work as required to assist the patrol staff. Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Salary $4,110 per month

120 vacation hours earned per year
96 sick leave hours earned per year
CalPERS New members 2% @ 62 – Employee contributes 6.5% towards retirement
“Classic” PERS members 2% @ 55 Employee contributes 7% towards retirement
Annual uniform allowance
WORK SCHEDULE

4 –10 hour work days per week including weekends, nights and holidays.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, possess a valid California Driver’s License, possess good customer service skills, have basic computer knowledge, be able to operate a 2-way communication radio, and be adaptable and able to occasionally work under stressful or difficult conditions.
