Position Overview: We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, poised and professional team player to join our team. As the first point of contact for the company, you will have the opportunity to interact with all levels throughout the organization and be responsible for ensuring that all visitors, callers and employees receive excellent customer service.

 

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing as appropriate
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company website and other related information
  • Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access including but not limited to monitoring the logbook and issuing visitor badges
  • Perform other administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.
  • Coordinate office event planning including communications, scheduling, set up and catering
  • Support miscellaneous projects as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and in a dynamic, high energy, team-oriented atmosphere.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft office
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
